It’s pretty common to test negative for Lyme disease and the tick-borne illnesses that are called co-infections. It seems like the immune system is not as reliable for tick-borne illnesses as we need. There are some doctors who think that 90% of the time you’ll show Lyme disease but the more recent studies are saying that it’s only 1 out of 3 that actually have a nice, clean, positive test that they can count on. Everybody else is out of luck if they want to rely on a blood test.
